Kanha National Park  The Park Situated in Mandla district in eastern Indian state Madhya Pradesh, Kanha national park is a Tiger reserve which extends over an area of 1,945-sq-kms. The major attraction of this park are its 1,945-sq-kms huge Topi grassland, bamboo forests and savannahs. Kanha is also known as The golden forest of India. Visiting the Kanha Tiger Reserve is a real pleasure for the nature lover as it contains around 31 species of mammals, 267 species of reptiles, 7 species of amphibians and more than 1000 species of insects. Kanha is very rich in its vegetational plants. Nearly 365 species of flowers have been identified.
