Chrono Cross – Japanese Version – Game Review
Chrono Cross is a standard RPG (Role Playing Game). Like most RPG, you play as a character who saves the world, etc. etc. So with that out of the way, let us get to the point of Chrono Cross.สล็อตเว็บตรงไม่ผ่านเอเย่นต์
Chrono Cross takes place in 2000, 13 years after Chrono Trigger. Older brother competition like Squall and Cloud have come to the aid of their younger sister, where they’ve agreed to undertake different missions in order to defeat the forces of their evil rival, Sonya. On the 13th year since their disappearance, their younger sister gives birth to a boy, named Cloud.
While inexperienced at fighting, Cloud is befriended by cafe owner syndrasto Donves. Donves guides Cloud through his early quests. Later, Donves tries to talk sense of Cloud to Cloud, and gives him some advice of strategy. Then later Donves runs off after getting Choir Voice from another diner owner. Donves remorsefully heals Cloud, and the two go back to the mission once again.
It starts out where every other game left off. First, we learn that there is a Museum in Besaid, where there also Quistis, first game’s main character. There’s also another character inside the museum, a girl whose name is Kos screaming out for help. You get to know all about Quistis next in the following scenes. After the scene, we see Sector 7 and after that, we find out that the Site Registry has a good chance of identifying Quistis as the pilot of the tenth mission airship, the Ropor.
Then it becomes much interesting, as Donves and Cloud have a fight. Donves nearly wins the battle against Cloud, only to find out that Cloud has a deep-seeded Zidane marking. In return, Donves becomes severely wounded. Cloud, being the good guy he always becomes after this ordeal. He helps Donves repairs the ship, and doesn’t miss a single beat.
Then a cut scene takes place, and we see signs of regeneration for Donves’ Zidane mark. His mark then turns into full abilities. Donves now has the ability to arm himself completely with most of his weapons from the menu, which greatly strengthens him.
Donves becomes stronger due to the help of his experiences in the game, and also gets a new accessory. A mysterious Egg munch can be found later in the game, and it starts the story of Gladia.
Overall, I thought the story was repetitive and had a boring ending. The best thing it brings to the table is the different gems color, which shows up whenever a character leveled up. The original characters are brought back to counter the newer characters introduced in Zidane.
I feel the characters are developed enough to be important in the game, but doesn’t really add anything as a whole. It seemed rushed all around and didn’t seem to me at all epic. Maybe I’m nitpicking, but I thought the income system in the game was kind of stupid. It didn’t seem very in-depth or fun to me. I’m looking forward to playing the next installment to see if they have fixed that problem.
Video Game Visuals: 10/10 Gameplay: 5/10 Story: 4/10 Sound: 2/10 Lasting Appeal: 3/10
Overall, I would say this is one of the most epic games I have seen where the developers focused on the atmosphere. reconstruct the atmosphere as close as possible to the original, and you yourself can’t help but feel as if you are in a movie. I’m a huge fan of the series, and I’m sure I will be playing it for a while.
I’m scoring this game with a 9.0 out of 10.สล็อตเว็บตรงไม่ผ่านเอเย่นต์
